Red Beans & Smoked Turkey



1 cup chopped onion

1 lb (about 454 g) dried kidney beans

1 tablespoon additional spicy seasoning combine

1 pint smoked turkey wings or drumsticks

3 cups of rice

1 liter of chilly water

1/2 cup chopped celery


Wash and kind the beans. Cowl the beans with water 2 inches above them in a 4-quart Dutch oven.

Soak for half-hour or in a single day. Drain.

In Dutch oven, mix celery, onion, additional spicy seasoning combine, turkey and water. Convey the combination to a boil.

Scale back warmth to low, cowl and simmer for 2-3 hours or till turkey and beans are cooked.

Take away the turkey, take away the meat from the bone and blend it with the beans.

Put together the rice. A tablespoon of rice blended with additional spicy seasoning In order for you extra spices, combine it.
