Preheat oven to 350F
Spray or butter and flour 2 loaf pans or one massive Bundt pan. (15-cup Bundt pan.)
Sift flour, baking powder and salt into medium bowl. Put aside.
Utilizing an electrical mixer, cream collectively butter, shortening and sugar. Add eggs one by one, beating till effectively blended after each.
Add dry components in three additions to butter combination alternately with milk, starting and ending with flour combination. Beat at low velocity simply till blended after every addition. Combine in lemon juice and zest.
Pour batter into ready pans. Bake muffins till tester inserted into middle comes out clear, about 55 minutes. Cool muffins in pans for quarter-hour. Flip muffins out onto racks and funky fully.
