Jerk Steak & Shrimp over Yellow Rice

  • 1 lb Angus Steak or Boneless Beef Tri tip (minimize into cubes)
  • 1 lb Massive Shrimp (Peeled & deveined)
  • 1 C Pink & Inexperienced Bell Peppers
  • 1 C Hen Broth or water
  • 2 tsp Jerk Seasoning (see Notes)
  • 1 tsp Creole Seasoning (see Notes)
  • 1 tsp Salt & Cracked Black pepper
  • 1/8 tsp Honey
  • 1 T Butter
  • 1 T Oil
  • Yellow Riceā€¦ Use Mahatma!

Steps

  1. Warmth oil in a big pan over Med Excessive warmth. Add steak. Prepare dinner undisturbed for 3 minutes. Gently flip in pan till browned on all sides, abt 7-8 minutes. Take away and put aside.
  2. Season shrimp with Jerk & Creole Seasonings. Mix properly. Colour ought to start to show purple. Add butter to pan then add shrimp. Prepare dinner for 1 min either side. Add honey. Prepare dinner an extra 1 min. Take away. Shrimp will end cooking final step.
  3. In identical pan add bell peppers. Prepare dinner for 3 minutes or till softened. Stir incessantly to maintain from burning. Add steak and shrimp again to pan. Toss to mix.

  • Creole Seasoning: 1 1/2 T Paprika, 1/8 T Thyme, 1 tsp Black Pepper, Oregano, Basil & Garlic Powder, Onion Powder, White Pepper and 1/2 T Finely crushed Pink Pepper Flake
