For the Banana Bread
- 3 massive ripe bananas (plus 1 additional banana for the highest, non-obligatory)
 - 1/3 cup (75g) melted butter
 - 1/2 cup (100g) sugar
 - 1/4 cup (50g) brown sugar (non-obligatory however advisable)
 - 1 massive egg
 - 1 tsp vanilla extract
 - 1 tsp baking soda
 - Pinch of salt
 - 1 ½ cups (190g) all-purpose flour
 
For the Cream Cheese Filling
- 1 cup (225g) cream cheese, softened
 - 1/3 cup (65g) sugar
 - 1 tsp vanilla extract
 - 1 massive egg
 
✅ Directions
1. Make the Banana Bread Batter
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
 - Mash the 3 ripe bananas in a bowl.
 - Add:
- melted butter
 - sugar + brown sugar
 - egg
 - vanilla
 
 - Combine till easy.
 - Add flour, baking soda, and salt.
 - Combine gently — do not overmix.
 
2. Make the Cream Cheese Filling
In a separate bowl, beat collectively:
- cream cheese
 - sugar
 - egg
 - vanilla
 
Combine till easy and creamy.
3. Assemble
- Grease and line a loaf pan with parchment.
 - Pour half of the banana batter.
 - Add all the cream cheese filling in a easy layer.
 - Pour the relaxation of the banana batter on high.
 - Slice the additional banana lengthwise and lay it on high (non-obligatory however matches your picture!).
 
4. Bake
Bake for 50–65 minutes.
If the highest browns too quick, cowl loosely with foil.
Bread is finished when:
- A toothpick inserted into the bread half (not the cream cheese layer) comes out clear.
 
5. Cool
